Features
Elite 2 x 5 Blade Louvres
An excellent accessory is a Louvre window. Elite offer a 5 blade and 10 blade Louvre (the 10 blade is available only on the Elite Titan range) and both are glazed with toughened safety glass as standard and aluminium or polycarbonate blades are also an option.
Humid and stagnant air can cause condensation and develops disease and mould in plants. By adding a Louvre on the side or rear of your Elite building, fresh air is drawn in and encouraged to circulate from different levels.
Elite 3" Wide Double Doors
The double door gives ample access whilst still allowing plenty of space either side of the door for staging, storage and grow bags.
Elite Cantilever
Additional strength to your greenhouse framework can be provided by the aluminium T bars which are available in 12”, 24” or 36” lengths and used as eave or ridge bracing.
Elite Cresting and Finals
Originally intended to create an individual and yet professional decorative finish to your greenhouse, it has been noted by many a grower that they can double up as a deterrent against cats and birds gaining access to the greenhouse roof.
Elite DIamond Shelf to Width
Made from extruded aluminium for a stronger and thicker material, this shelf has been designed specifically for an Elite product, be it a greenhouse or lean-to. The shelving can be adjusted to any height required within the greenhouse and is built with a slatted design, allowing for extra ventilation to any produce placed on the work surface, and ideal for fluid drainage compared with the traditional solid shelf.
The diamond shelf has been tailored to the Elite framework, hence accommodating the diagonal braces within the building which do not need removing and thus allowing for the first time a shelf which can fill the full width or length of your greenhouse.
Elite Double Lock
This door lock provides some basic security for your greenhouse and is supplied with two keys.
Elite Eaves Corner
All Elite greenhouse corner bars are extremely strong and will last a lifetime. Part of the reason for its strength are the corner bars ( uprights and eave slopes ) which have a double box section arrangement which adds a huge amount of rigidity to each profile.
Compare this to the cheap aluminium framework on other greenhouses which may fold and bend in bad weather conditions.
Elite Gutter
The aluminium gutters are built in as standard, adding additional strength to the existing structure. This allows for a choice of rainwater kits to be fitted (either standard twin oulet or a kit to join both gutters to one outlet) to collect and recycle the rainwater into a barrel which can then be reused to help your produce thrive.
Elite High Tensile Nuts and Bolts
Elite High Tensile Nuts and Bolts
Elite only use high tensile nuts and bolts and these have been scientifically tested to be 2½ times stronger than standard aluminium bolts, therefore will not shear, and continue to maintain the strength of your greenhouse throughout its lifetime. The full headed series is intended for the construction of most aluminium greenhouses.
Elite Low Threshold
Due to the fact Elite’s aluminium bases are an integral part of the framework, this has allowed us to manufacture a low threshold door which also means the door(s) are taller. As standard the door(s) are “dropped” into the base providing a ground level threshold allowing easy access for the user.
Elite Roof Vent
Elite include at least one manual roof vent as standard on every greenhouse and lean-to. The larger the greenhouse then the more vents are included and, depending upon what the greenhouse is going to be used for, additional ventilation can be purchased. Please refer to the technical information regarding how many vents are included.
