Elite charge all agents a home delivery fee, we have always been honest and explained how we charge this back to the customer. Previously under £500 we had passed this on in full, between £500 and £1,000 we paid half ourselves and passed the other half onto the customer and over £1,000 we paid the full amount ourselves. Other agents simply increase their greenhouses prices to cover the delivery cost, especially the online only agents who do not have a local pick up option available, we have never done this as we have many customers who collect from us who shouldn't pay more. We have also always delivered locally on our own vans free of charge.

In the current climate we are trying to do all we can to help people and to this end we have now reduced the cost of deliveries significantly. Up to a £700 order value we are just charging a flat rate of £50 which is less than half we pay. Over £700 we are paying all the delivery fees ourself which means we should now be the cheapest for delivery in the UK on most Elite Greenhouses.
